On November 14, at “Ararat” Meeting Room of Armenia Marriott Hotel, ” Awareness, Literacy, Access and Usage of Financial Services by MSMEs in Regions of Armenia” Baseline Assessment Report was presented to representatives from the state and international organizations, financial institutions and NGOs.

The Study was implemented within the Finance for Economic Development (FED) Program.

FED is USAID’s program implemented by the Cardno Emerging Markets USA during 2013-2016. Within the framework of this Program, EDRC conducts regular assessments on the awareness, literacy, access and usage of financial services for MSMEs in regions of Armenia.

The Assessment is implemented in three separate stages with the objective to identify the pre‐project situation, monitor and evaluate the progress during the project implementation. The Assessment therefore involves three logically interrelated stages – the baseline assessment will be followed by a mid-term assessment in 2015, and a final evaluation in 2016.
