EDRC published the Compliance Report of implementation of Corrective Action Plan (CAP) for newly acquired lands under Land Acquisition And Resettlement Plan (LARP).

The Government of Armenia is implementing the North-South Road Corridor Investment Program. Completion results of the LARP for the second tranche (T2) of the Program revealed the need for unanticipated acquisition of land plots in the affected communities, to decrease the negative impact on the archaeological sites in the acquisition area (Aruch Archaeological Complex, Hellenistic city remains in Agarak). To proper organize and implement this process, CAP under the T2 LARP was prepared and implemented.

This Compliance Report was developed based on the results of the external monitoring and compliance review of the CAP implementation. The external monitoring is carried out by the EDRC.
