On October 24-25, the first training on “Climate Budget: Climate Budget Expenditures Tagging (CBT)” took place, with participants from the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Economy, and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia.

The overall goal of the training is to develop institutional capacities of stakeholder ministries/agencies of RA in the area of CBT aimed at enabling efficient assessment of climate budget expenditures in the future. Specifically, the training focuses on the necessary steps for introducing a system for tagging climate budget expenditures within the budgetary process.

The training was organized within the framework of the UNDP “Climate Promise Armenia – From Pledge to Impact” programme.
