On 31 October and 1 November, the second training on “Climate Budget: Climate Budget Expenditure Tagging” was held. A total of fifteen representatives from the Office of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Environment, and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia took part.

The overall goal of the training is to develop institutional capacities of stakeholder ministries/agencies of RA in the area of CBT aimed at enabling efficient assessment of climate budget expenditures in the future. Specifically, the training focuses on the necessary steps for introducing a system for tagging climate budget expenditures within the budgetary process.

The training was organized within the framework of the UNDP “Climate Promise Armenia – From Pledge to Impact” programme.
