The trainings organized for local government representatives on “Alignment of Municipal Annual Work Plans with Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals” were completed.

The main objective of the training was to develop capacities in Municipalities of Armenia needed for effective localization of Agenda 2030 and incorporation of SDGs in local development policy documents and action plans, particularly the alignment of Municipalities Annual Work Plans (AWPs) and SDGs.

3 rounds of trainings were held in Goris (March 17-18), in Aghveran (March 24-25) and in Dilijan (March 31-April 1). 87 representatives of 67 communities from 10 marzes of Armenia were participated in trainings.

The trainings were organised within the framework of “Good Governance for Local Development in the South Caucasus” project of GIZ.
